GK & Current Affairs for Kids

Description

General knowledge only stays useful if it stays current — a GK book printed last year is already out of date. This daily GK and current affairs subscription for kids solves that by delivering fresh content on WhatsApp every weekday, built from that week’s real events instead of a static question bank.

Why current affairs matter for school-age children

School GK sections, scholarship exams, and school quiz competitions increasingly test current affairs rather than fixed general knowledge. A child who reads real news in a simplified, age-appropriate way every week builds two things at once: broader awareness of the world, and the reading comprehension habit that helps in every other subject.

What’s inside each GK & current affairs pack

• This Week in the World — three to four real news stories, simplified for the child’s grade, each followed by a comprehension question.
• Sports & Achievements Quiz — a multiple-choice round covering recent Indian and world sporting results and records.
• Word Match & True/False — the same week’s facts revisited a second way, so they actually stick.
• A full answer key with every pack, so parents can check answers without looking anything up themselves.

Written for every grade band from 3 to 10

The same week’s news is adapted to reading level and depth: a Grade 3 pack keeps sentences short and explains context that a Grade 9 pack would assume; a Grade 9 or 10 pack adds more analytical questions and vocabulary. Covers national news, science and space (including ISRO updates), sports, and major world events — the categories that actually appear in school GK tests and competitive exam current-affairs sections.

How the WhatsApp delivery works

No app, no login. Every weekday, a printable current-affairs pack arrives on WhatsApp. Print it, or read and answer on a phone or tablet — whichever suits your child’s routine.

Frequently asked questions

Is this useful for competitive exam preparation, not just school GK? Yes. Scholarship exams, Olympiads and school entrance tests increasingly draw current-affairs questions from the same kind of real, recent events covered here.

How is the content kept up to date? Every week’s pack is built fresh from that week’s actual news — nothing is recycled from a fixed question bank.

Which grade should I choose? Your child’s current school grade. Message us on WhatsApp if you’re unsure, and we’ll help you pick the right level.

Does this replace a school GK textbook? No — it complements one. A textbook covers static facts; this pack keeps your child’s general knowledge current, which is the part a printed book can’t do.
